Choose the competency (Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Use of Numbers and Data) which it demonstrates.
On a separate piece of paper do the reflection. Remember you are trying to connect this assignment with the competency. Focus on that first. How does it show it?
Then you can focus on:
What you did well? (Strengths)
What you have improved on from previous assignments and work? I'm doing this much better .... (Areas of Improvement)
What are some areas of concern? Things to work on next time to make it better? (Concerns)
How can you be more successful? How are you going to improve next time? (Actions Needed)
Blowing up a Balloon: CHEMICALLY lab Due Nov. 1st
Conclusion
1) Restate the purpose of the lab
2) Tell what you did and what you found by doing the lab. Include the data and what it states.
3) Restate your hypothesis and tell whether it is confirmed or rejected your data. Remember the data should support or reject your hypothesis ... it's hwy we do experiments.
4) Discuss any problems that occurred during the lab, any errors in the data, or anything that might affect the results. (example: broken thermometer, forgot to start the stopwatch, repeating the experiment, different amounts of reactants, volumes)
5) Discuss how you can improve the experiment to make it more accurate or valid next time.
Chemical Reaction Lab Report due Tuesday Oct. 27
Data and Analysis
Make sure your data table is clearly labeled.
Make a quick data analysis under the data discussing what it shows. You don't have to infer anything about the data. You should just state what it shows. (example: The temperature went up)
Conclusion
1) Restate the purpose of the lab
2) Tell what you did and what you found by doing the lab
3) Tel whether this conformed or regrets your hypothesis
4) Discuss any problems that occurred during the lab, any errors in the data, or anything that might affect the resluts. (examaple: broken thermometer, forgot to start the stopwatch)
5) Discuss how you can improve the experiment to make it more accurate or valid next time.
