Students who are concerned about their tests scores on the Atmosphere Test, there will be a one time crash course (study group) on Thursday morning that you MUST attend in order to take the assessment. I will not accept late students, so please be on time (I will be). I will go over the basic concepts one more time in a fun and quiz-show way. Then after school there will be some type of assessment to check understanding on the basic concepts in the chapter. After that I will look at the corrections made to the tests when we went over them and the new assessment and to determine the points. This opportunity should be mandatory for anyone that scored lower then 60% on the test and recommended for anyone under 70%. Please please please support your child if they choose to attend. I also want to stress that I will double my efforts to make sure every student understands the concepts, builds their study skills, and enjoys science class but I will continue to have high expectations. This will be the last retake situation ... next test let's get it right the first time. All students are welcome to seeing me before, during or after school and ask for help before the assessment. I will have an additional study session before the next test. Please help your child study as well.
